Achievements

Earn badges for what you do in Pawtato Land — each one awards Achievement points.

Achievements are badges you unlock by playing Pawtato Land — clearing dungeons, defeating foes, crafting, fishing and more. Every badge you earn awards Achievement points, and your total points decide where you sit on the Achievements leaderboard.

Open the Achievements screen from the badge (emerald) button at the top of the screen, next to your balances. An exclamation marker appears on that button whenever there are newly available achievements you haven't earned yet.

Achievement points are separate from a Hero's combat EXP. Points come from badges and rank you on the Achievements leaderboard; a Hero's EXP comes from battles in the Proving Grounds and levels up that Hero.

Achievement points

Each badge is worth a set number of Achievement points (shown as Points throughout the screen). The Your Progress bar at the top of the Achievements screen tracks how many badge stages you've completed out of the total, and every achievement lists both the points it's worth and the points you've already banked.

The sum of the points from all the badges you've earned is your score on the Achievements leaderboard — see Leaderboards.

Gameplay achievements

Achievements are grouped into categories, shown in the left column of the screen. The Gameplay category is the heart of the current season: its badges are earned purely by adventuring, and are granted automatically as the game tallies what you've done — there's nothing to claim.

Multi-stage achievements

Many achievements are multi-stage: several badges that share the same goal are grouped into a single achievement with progressive tiers. For example, Encounter Slayer runs from a small first target up to a much larger one — beat a handful of encounters for the first badge, then keep going for the next — and each tier is a separate badge worth its own points.

For a counting achievement, an in-progress stage shows a live "Current X of Y" line — for example Encounters Defeated: 3 of 5 — so you can see exactly how close you are to the next stage. The Goal and Points for each stage are listed beside it, and completed stages show the date you earned them.

Turn on Hide Complete to remove fully-earned achievements from the list and focus on what's left.

New and pending badges

  • A New tag marks an achievement that has recently been added and that you haven't earned yet, so you can spot fresh content at a glance.

  • Gameplay badges are tallied from your in-game activity, so a goal you've just met may take a short while to register as earned rather than popping instantly. Keep playing and it will catch up.

Newly earned badge celebration

When you earn one or more badges, a celebration pops up the next time you're in the game — titled Achievement Unlocked! for a single badge, or New Badges Earned! when several have stacked up since your last visit. It lists each new badge, the points it awarded, and the total points earned. This can appear anywhere in Pawtato Land; you don't need to have the Achievements screen open. Closing it marks those badges as seen so they won't pop again.

How to view and claim achievements (step by step)

  1. Click the badge (emerald) button at the top of the screen, beside your balances, to open the Achievements screen. A marker on the button means new achievements are available.

  2. Make sure you're on the Achievements view (the medal icon in the left rail). The other icon switches to the Leaderboard view.

  3. Read the Your Progress bar at the top to see your total completed stages, and optionally tick Hide Complete to hide anything you've already finished.

  4. Browse the categories in the left column and select an achievement to open its detail on the right, where you'll see each stage, its Goal, its Points, and your live progress.

  5. Gameplay achievements — defeating enemies, clearing dungeons, crafting, healing Heroes, catching fish and the like — are awarded automatically as you play; just keep adventuring to fill the bar.

  6. When a badge is awarded you'll get the Achievement Unlocked! celebration, and its points are added to your total for the Achievements leaderboard.
