Quests
Take on Quests from quest givers, complete their objectives and earn rewards

Quests are offered by quest givers out on the World Map. Each quest giver offers one Quest at a time with clear Objectives and Rewards — a ! marker above a quest giver means a new Quest is waiting, a ? marker means a finished Quest is ready to be handed in.
To start a Quest, you first need an active (selected) Hero — click the quest giver and accept the Quest.
Finish the Quest's objectives before it refreshes (countdown shown in the dialog).
How to take on and complete a Quest (step by step)
Select one of your Heroes in the game HUD. A Quest can only be accepted and progressed with an active Hero — without one the dialog opens read-only and the button shows Select a Hero to Play.
On the world map, find a quest giver. A new Quest is flagged with a ! marker above them. Click the quest giver to open the Quest dialog.
Read the details. The dialog shows the Quest name, its Objectives, its Rewards, and a New quest in … countdown — the time left before this quest giver's Quest changes.
Click Accept Quest to start it. (If your active Hero is busy, the button instead reads Hero is in a dungeon or Hero is on an assignment — free the Hero up first.)
Complete the Objectives by playing. Each objective (for example, defeating certain enemies in encounters) updates automatically; the dialog tracks progress as X / Y and marks finished objectives with a check.
Once every objective is met, the quest giver shows a ? marker. Reopen the dialog and click Complete Quest to hand it in and collect your rewards (see Quest Rewards below).
Quest Rewards
Successfully completing a Quest grants your Hero:
Experience (XP)
Resources — such as Mushrooms, Essence of Axoma, Stamina Potions, or a Health Potion, depending on the Quest.
Quest Givers
More quest givers will appear across Axoma over time. Currently the following quest giver is active:
Paw Paw
Paw Paw is stationed at a fixed spot in the starting area around Hearthstead (use the map overview to fly to the Proving Grounds location if you can't find him). He offers a single Quest at a time, refreshing daily (every 24 hours). His Quests are combat-focused — defeating specific enemies in encounters — and reward Experience and Resources.
