Salvaging

Salvaging an item returns a portion of its original crafting materials. To salvage something a Scrapper Tool is needed and any Salvaging deducty 10 Durability of the Scrapper.

When salvaging, there is a small chance to hit a Jackpot and get double the materials back.

Also, certain Items can result in Bonus Loot:

• Armor & Weapons

  • Orb of Reforging

  • Orb of Refinement

• Tools & Talismans

  • Divine Favor Token

These Chances increase with the Quality and Rarity Tier of your Scrapper Tool.

Soulbound Items do not have a Bonus Loot Chance

How to salvage a tool (step by step)

Salvaging lives in the tool's detail view, opened from your Backpack. You need an equipped Scrapper Tool with at least 10 Durability before you can salvage. Mythic tools cannot be salvaged, and tools are salvaged one at a time.

1. Open your Backpack (the backpack icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen).

2. Find the tool you want to salvage in the Tools section of the Backpack and click it.

3. Click Details in the tool's tooltip to open its detail view.

4. Scroll to the Salvage card. If the tool is equipped, unequip it first; if it's listed on the marketplace, delist it first.

5. Select the red Salvage button and confirm.

6. The Tool Salvaged rewards window shows the materials (and any bonus loot) you received.
