Some Heroes are born lucky, but with hard work, any Hero can rise to the absolute top. Next to levels, Heroes can also progress in terms of their Tier from **Common** > **Uncommon** > **Rare** > **Epic** > **Legendary** > **Mythic**. Just like with items, Heroes **cannot jump** a Rarity Tier - this means in order for **Common** Heroes to reach **Epic**, they will have to ascend to **Uncommon** and **Rare** first.

To be able to **start an Ascension Quest**, a player first needs to acquire an **Ascension Tablet** for the respective Tier upgrade. Intact Tablets are very rare items in Axoma and almost impossible to acquire directly, but Tablets can be restored at an **Estate** (up to **Epic**) or **Province** (up to **Legendary**) if a player gets hold of the right **Fragments.** #### **Fragments of Ascension Tablets** When adventuring in the world of Pawtato Land, Heroes have a certain chance to find different Fragments of long forgotten knowledge (loot, rewards etc). Those Fragments themselves already hold enough wisdom to elevate a Pawtato to a advanced state of being, but if more unique Fragments are combined, even higher evolution is possible.

**Fragment of Resolve**\ \&#xNAN;*Whispers of unbroken will echo through this shard. Those who hold it feel the quiet strength to keep moving when all seems lost.*

**Fragment of Focus**\ \&#xNAN;*This fragment sharpens the mind like a blade. Distractions fade, and purpose burns bright as the midday sun.*

**Fragment of Harmony**\ \&#xNAN;*A pulse of balance hums within - between body and spirit, earth and sky. Heroes carrying it walk in perfect rhythm with the world.*

**Fragment of Vigor**\ \&#xNAN;*Raw vitality thrums inside this piece. It is said to reflect the endurance of the first Pawtato to ever conquer the wilderness.*

**Fragment of Insight**\ \&#xNAN;*This fragment holds ancient memory. When pressed to the heart, it reveals echoes of the lost civilizations of Axoma.*

**Fragment of Unity**\ \&#xNAN;*This fragment pulses with the lifeblood of Axoma itself. It binds roots to rivers, wind to flame, and spirit to soil - a reminder that every creature and element is part of one endless cycle.*

**Fragment of Genesis**\ \&#xNAN;*This piece radiates the same pulse that awakened the first roots of Pawtato Land. It grants the bearer a touch of creation itself.*

**Fragment of Oblivion**\ \&#xNAN;*Dark and still, it hums with quiet destruction. All things that begin must end - this shard carries that truth.*

**Fragment of Eternity**\ \&#xNAN;*It defies decay and time alike. Those who gaze into it feel infinite lifetimes reflected back.*

**Fragment of the Veil**\ \&#xNAN;*A thin shimmer runs through this shard, like reality itself bending at the edges. It reveals what lies just beyond mortal perception - the hidden threads behind every event.*

**Fragment of Awakening**\ \&#xNAN;*Dormant energy stirs within this fragment, waiting to be claimed. It embodies the moment a Hero realizes their true nature - not yet divine, but no longer ordinary.*

**Fragment of Transcendence**\ \&#xNAN;*A faint light dances inside, as if the shard remembers stars that no longer exist. Those who harness it step beyond mortal limits.* If a player equips the [Runic Resonator](/pawtato-land/gameplay/tools/miscellaneous-tools.md) tool, even Heroes who are passively on [Patrol](/pawtato-land/gameplay/heroes/patrol.md) have a chance to find certain Fragments.
