Land NFTs

Pawtato Land NFT Overview

Pawtato Land has its roots in the very first Sui Land NFT collection mint, which happened on June 21st 2025. A record 15,000 Land NFTs have been minted within 1h 17min. No more Land NFTs will be created.

A Land with common traits vs a Land with rare traits

From September 24th until October 8th 2025 The Merge event happened, where players could combine 4 Land Plots into an Estate or 9 Land Plots into a Province. The Merge was a one-time irreversible event, which reduced the number of Land Plots to 5,704 while creating 776 Estates and 688 Provinces.

How to get a Land NFT (step by step)

All 15,000 Lands are already minted, so you acquire one on the secondary market — either the in-game Marketplace or TradePort on Sui. Each Land is a Plot, Estate or Province.

Option A — In-game Marketplace

  1. In the bottom action bar, click the Marketplace button - or find the Marketplace building on the world map and click it.

  2. Select Land as the NFT type (choose it from the collection list or the NFT-type selector).

  3. Browse the Land listings and click one to open its details.

  4. Click Buy, then Confirm Buy. No wallet is needed to buy on the in-game Marketplace.

Option B — TradePort (external secondary market)

  1. Complete the purchase on TradePort with your connected wallet.

Your new Land then appears in Land Management, ready to stake (see below).

How to stake and unstake Land (step by step)

Staking a Land puts it to work so it generates resources; unstaking returns it to your wallet after a cooldown.

Stake a Land

  1. Open your Player Profile (click your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen), then click Manage Lands on the Representing Land card. The Land Management panel opens on the Lands view.

  2. Click a Land marked Stakeable to select it. To stake several at once, tick Multi Select, then click each Land or use the Stakeable quick-select button (up to 50 Lands per stake).

  3. Click Stake 1 Land (or Stake … Lands) and approve the transaction - the Land Management page prompts you to connect your Sui wallet here if it isn't connected yet. The Land is now staked and producing resources.

Unstake a Land (Unstake → cooldown → Withdraw)

  1. Open Land Management.

  2. Select one or more Staked Lands. For batches, tick Multi Select and use the Staked quick-select button (up to 10 Lands per unstake).

  3. Click Unstake … Land(s) and approve. This starts a 3-day unstaking period, during which the Land stops producing.

    • To cancel and put the Land straight back to work, select the cooling-down Land and click Cancel Cooldown & Restake … Land(s).

  4. When the cooldown ends, the Land becomes Ready to Withdraw. Select it and click Withdraw … Land(s) (up to 10 at a time), then approve to return the Land to your wallet.

Land NFTs and their traits

Pawtato Land NFTs have nine different traits with values that differ in rarity. Estates and Provinces have additional traits in regards to Influence and the capability to incorporate Buildings.

Base Traits - Resources

The traits include seven base resources, each with a value of either None, Small, Medium or Large. The rarity of the resource traits is as follows:

Environmental Traits - Sky and Soil

In addition to the base resource traits, each Land also has also two environmental traits - Sky and Soil, which give an additive boost to the lands production rates. Potential values and their boosts of each trait:

Bonus Resource - Mushrooms

If a player has a Foraging Knife equipped, his Lands also produce Mushrooms.

The amount produced is influenced by the Sky and Soil traits of the Land as well as the Rarity of the Foraging Knife.

Storage

Lands also have a base Storage Capacity for each resource. Estates have 4x that storage and Provinces 9x.

If storage is full, Architects must claim resources to resume production. Claiming credits the resources to your in-game balance and clears the storage. Staking a Wheelbarrow expands storage capacity, allowing it to take longer before filling up.
