Swaps, Transfers & Deposits

Swap between on-chain tokens, send resources and items to other players, and fund TATO into your in-game Backpack.

Beyond trading on the Marketplace and Exchange, Pawtato Land gives you three more economy glyphs: Swap (exchange on-chain tokens), Transfer (send to other players), and the TATO Bridge for getting TATO into and out of the game.

Swap

The Swap screen lets you exchange on-chain tokens — most commonly buying TATO with SOL. It supports both SUI and SOLANA: a chain toggle at the top lets you pick which network to swap on.

• On SOLANA, Swap embeds the Jupiter swap widget, pre-set to swap SOL → TATO (you can change the tokens inside the widget). A small referral fee, taken in SOL, applies to the swap.

• On SUI, Swap uses Pawtato's own on-chain swap.

Swapping happens entirely on-chain, so it uses a connected wallet through the widget. This is how you acquire TATO in your wallet; to then move it into the game, use the TATO Bridge below.

Swap trades tokens in your wallet on-chain. It is separate from Convert, which swaps in-game resources for one another on the Exchange.

Transfer — send to another player

Transfer lets you send things directly to another player, with no listing or sale involved. Open it with the Send button on any resource or item in your Backpack, or from the Transfer screen's sidebar. There are two modes:

• Transfer Resources — send fungible resources (including TATO).

• Transfer Glyphs — send Glyphs and Equipment.

In every case you find the recipient by searching for their name — start typing a player's Nickname and pick them from the results (the most recently-active players show first). You always send to a player, never to a wallet address, so set a Nickname to be findable.

The recipient box searches by name only — a numeric User ID typed in won't match. Some in-game links (such as a Pledge's Transfer to user) instead pre-select the recipient for you.

A small TATO fee applies to each transfer — one fee per resource transfer, and one fee per item when sending Glyphs or Equipment. The total fee is shown before you confirm, and drawn from your in-game TATO balance.

How to send resources (step by step)

1. Open Transfer and select Transfer Resources (or hit Send on a resource in your Backpack).

2. Under You transfer, choose the resource and enter a whole-number amount — use the 25% / 50% / 75% buttons or click your balance for the maximum.

3. In the Recipient field, type the player's name and pick them from the search results.

4. Review the fee note, then click Transfer Resource and confirm.

How to send Glyphs or Equipment (step by step)

1. Open Transfer and select Transfer Glyphs.

2. Tap the item cards you want to send — a check mark marks each selected item, and your picks appear under Selected Items.

3. In the Recipient field, search the player's name and pick them from the results.

4. Review the per-item fee total, then click Transfer … Item(s) and confirm.

Items that are broken, staked, equipped, attuned, in cooldown or under repair can't be sent until they're free. Tapping one shows a note explaining why.

Funding TATO into the game

TATO you hold in your wallet isn't yet spendable in Pawtato Land — the game spends from your In-Game Backpack. The TATO Bridge moves TATO between the two. Open it from TATO Swap & Bridge in your Assets sidebar, or from any Deposit More button the game shows when you're short on TATO.

Deposit from your wallet (step by step)

1. Open the TATO Bridge.

2. Pick the chain your TATO is on — SUI or SOLANA — and connect that wallet.

3. Make sure the direction reads Transfer TATO from your wallet to your in-game Backpack (the deposit direction).

4. Enter an amount, or use the 25% / 50% / 75% buttons.

5. Click Deposit TATO and approve in your wallet.

6. Keep the window open while it shows Verifying deposit… — once the on-chain transfer is confirmed, the TATO lands in your Backpack.

Closed the window too early, or did the credit step fail? Your on-chain deposit is safe — see Resume a Deposit to finish crediting it (this also covers Land and Hero NFT deposits).

Withdraw back to your wallet

The same screen withdraws TATO from your Backpack back to your connected wallet, on either chain — pick SUI or SOLANA with the same chain selector you use to deposit, connect that wallet, and switch the direction to withdraw. A daily withdrawal limit applies (shown on the screen), and only sellable TATO can leave — soulbound TATO stays in-game.

The limit is a rolling 24-hour window, not a fixed daily reset: each withdrawal counts against your allowance until 24 hours after you made it, at which point that amount frees up again. It is denominated in USD, so the TATO amount it corresponds to moves with the live TATO price.

Once you have withdrawn something within that window, the screen shows how much of the allowance is left today, and the amount field is capped at that remaining headroom rather than at the full limit — so the maximum you can enter is always an amount the withdrawal will actually accept.

Minimum withdrawal

Every bridge-out pays a network fee regardless of how much it moves, so a dust-sized exit costs more to settle than it is worth. Each withdrawal must therefore be at least $1 worth of TATO.

Like the daily limit, the minimum is denominated in USD, so the TATO amount it corresponds to moves with the live TATO price. The form converts it for you at the current price and rounds up to a whole TATO — the figure it shows is always a number the withdrawal will accept. You'll find it in the helper text under the button, and below the floor the button itself locks and reads Minimum … TATO.

New accounts: a 10-day wait

TATO withdrawals are locked for the first 10 days after you sign up. An on-chain exit can't be undone, so brand-new accounts are held back long enough that farmed or fraudulently funded balances can still be caught while they're in-game.

While the lock is on, the withdraw button reads Unlocks in … with the remaining time, and the helper text names the rule. Deposits and in-game spending are unaffected — only moving TATO out to your wallet waits.

Depending on your account and platform, you may also see options to buy TATO with a card (a card checkout that credits TATO straight to your Backpack) and a Cross-Chain bridge that moves TATO between Sui and Solana. Availability of these varies; the standard way to fund the game is the wallet Deposit flow above.
